Top corners trimmed for the original dry fixing,
near perfect surface, very clean and most brilliant
glazes. Style: Art nouveau An excellent and rarely found Art Nouveau
tile of the secessionist school, wonderful
colours in earth tones of bronze and gold having
great warmth and harmony. Varying hues
particularly of the background give great depth,
five colours in a narrow spectrum add to the
feel of refinement created by the design. The
glazes are most brilliant and the elements
combine to make a most appealling tile such that
it carries an air of quality surprising for
Boote who competed in the 'affordable' bracket
of tile makers. Verso very clean, plain unmarked grid.
