near (now) Manchester and made for them by Maw
& Co but this is by Richards. This well
painted given the high relief and lack of
outline, two colurs for the decoration, that's
all it needs to create the brilliant effect,
warmy creamy background, a bright and sunny
tile. Verso perfectly clean, embossed England the
grip pattern one of the first from Richards new
Pinnox works opened in 1901.
