Minor chips/wear and glazing/printing flaws to
the rim, glaze surface is very near perfect. Style:
Gothic/'arts & crafts movement style' Webbs tiles are rarely found in the
marketplace but it is clear that they made
blanks and probably fully decorated tiles for
Wedgwood. This has an unusual verso for the
company with a ring grip pattern and embossed
Henry C Webb, Worcester instead of the more
common Webb's Tileries, Worcester. This is a
buff clay tile and slightly thicker than usual
so quite a substantial tile.

An excellent block printed tile with a
stylised symmetrical floral pattern well
printed, apart from some weakness near the
edges, in earth tones. A good full design in the
style of the times showing some gothic influence
indeed one may say a continuance of Pugin's
light gothic style.
