Top corners trimmed for the original fixing,
very tiny rim chips, light scratches mostly near
the edges, one pinprick and some minute touches of
wear to the outline, near perfectly clean and
brilliantly glazed. Style: Art
nouveau A most unusual chequer style design with the
flower flowing across two diagonal segments, a
registered design nevertheless a rarity. Few art
nouveau designs are based upon the daffodil by
its very nature the daffodil does not naturally
take to the art nouveau style and when we see
them they do tend to be pretty wild designs.
Natural colours and nice and bright glazes. Verso very clean with embossed design
registration number and hand written pattern
number.
