Two tiny corner chips, top left corner is a
glazed over manufacturing flaw, surface very near
perfect. Style:
Floral conventional A late victorian floral design, highly
stylised but difficult to categorise, certainly
not art nouveau nor arts and crafts style. Super
manufacture, well pressed indented and embossed
with a brilliant translucent jade green glaze
that really shows the moulding off to its
best. Rarely found and possibly a factory/showroom
sample, bought with a collection including other
such tiles. Verso very clean, embossed P in opposing
corners, pattern number both incised and
written.
