Bottom right corner trimmed for the original
fixing, one very tiny, four minute rim chips, other
very minor marks, minor manufacturing flaws. Style: Art
nouveau There are few ship tiles in the early part of
the art nouveau era and only a couple of viking
ships this and another (better of course) from
Sherwin & Cotton. The Sherwin doesn't come
along very often but this is more regular, and
it's a nice tile with a friendly, curvy, chubby
boat. Excellent glaze brilliance as usual for
these colours. Versos near perfectly clean, embossed
England.
