Only the very slightest of marks Style: Gothic A superb example of traditional majolica,
opaque glazes on a coloured clay body, whilst we
are used to seeing such tiles from Minton &
Co, (Minton, Hollins & Co.) Maw & Co
produced equally good tiles such as this with
six enamel colours. These are very durable tiles such that they
were quite frequently used in exterior walls,
they are some of the best quality tiles ever
made and cost a small fortune in their day. Versos very clean, embossed Maw & Co.,
Broseley etc. One very ting rim chip, other very minor
marks.
