Three very tiny, one minute rim chips, surface
very near perfect. Style: Art
nouveau An intriguing design, rare although perhaps I
may have passed it by prior to two decades ago
if it were in ordinary browns or greens. More of
a garland than a wreath, certainly art nouveau
which can be difficult to state unequivocally in
simple designs. Lovely 'steely turquoise' blue
glaze, very translucent, it was prone to crazing
and so is less frequently found (many blue
glazes are opaque, if glossy). Verso clean with some minor stains, some
slight clay loss, embossed copyright and
England.
