One very tiny rim chip, other minuts
chips/roughness to the tip of the rim, minor

within an invisible cartouche, with elements of
classical, Queen Anne, rococo, greek, even
gothic design, the great european styles of the
17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Such tight and
small scale fusion designs were made by many
companies of the times, most all seem to give
similar overall impressions but when collected
together they are quite different in detail.
Usually found coloured as this although this is
in five colours, often there are just three Verso very clean. A Boote blank with printed
initials H.P. verso the only name of the period
that seems to fit is Hardy & Padmore who was
a major ironfounder in Worcester so likely made
for them.
