One very tiny, three minute rim chip, very
slight roughness to the rim in places, surface near

study An excellent example of the styles of the
times an aesthetic movement interpretation of
nature in circular vignettes with sun motifs and
floral borders in a super shade of blue on a
good white body, this the half an inch thick
'hearth quality' body. John Bradburn was a prolific and respected
designer producing many of Minton Hollins most
popular designs of this period and then many
more for Maw & Co for another twenty years
or so. His name not so well recognised because
he worked directly for companies rather than
freelancing and he concentrated on his design
work rather than writing books about it. Verso very clean, embossed Mintons etc,
indistinct registration lozenge.
