One tiny and several very tiny/minute rim chips,
some glazing flaws on the plain area otherwise
surface is very near perfect, no crazing and
perfectly clean. Style:
Literary subject. A humorous scene from Charles Dickens' Old
Curiosity Shop entitled Mutual Exploits of Kit
and the Pony, the original illustration by
Hablot Knight Browne who used the pen name Phiz.
A very complex print illustrating a busy scene
well engraved and printed in black. Verso standard ring back as used mostly by T
& R Boote with writing concerning its
discovery. Generally accepted as being decorated
by Boote but it may have been printed by another
company.
