A super design in great colours, nice mauve
fruits, very brilliant green on the leaf and
most appropriate burgundy background, a great
tile for wine buffs. Mostly indented moulding
with little more than the outline embossed
creating great shading and variation on the
fruits.
Lea & Boulton are an underrated company
who made super tiles in a variety of
techniques.
Versos very clean with embossed L & B T
and England.
Condition: Fine
Price: £55 (approx $85)
Stock number: 02740D
About a dozen minute edge chips, a couple of
very tiny chips to the outline, few very
small/light surface marks. A nice clean tile
with excellent brilliance in the glazes, the
burgundy is especially good.
