A bold highly stylised floral design tile
of faience quality with impressed decoration
painted with bright honey glaze. Attributed
to William Neatby who was head of Doulton's
department of architectural faience and the
designer of the famous Harrod's Meat Hall
along with other architectural gems. Verso perfectly clean, embossed Doulton's
Patent Safety Tile Back with 36 lock rings,
some clay loss from edges and lock rings. Condition: Near perfect Only the very slightest of
marks.
