Free hand painted in slips on a plain body the design bright and cheerful against a hand painted dappled ground which is nicely done, all too often dappling can look rather naive even crude. The slight relief created by the slips rather than on a moulded body as most barbotine painted tiles are, and painted without the use of an outline or pouncing for having two to compare the hand of the artist is clearly apparent. Verso near perfectly clean, embossed Craven Dunnil etc, painted pattern number.     Information Tiles For Sale Contacts Order Information
