Two minute chips bottom edge, few surface marks
mostly losses to the outline Style: Art nouveau An iconic art nouveau tile, the epitome of
the triple tulip genre, very well executed and
by the top quality maker Gibbons, Hinton &
Co. of Stourbridge (look at the accuracy of the
painting and compare to Boote, Rhodes or almost
any other tile maker). This its most popular
design although still not found as often as one
would wish for it is a great design, flexible in
application, for walls, fireplaces, washstands
etc. and a classic for collectors. Every art
nouveau tile collection should have a good
example of this design, there are a few rarely
found more adventurous colourways for the
longtime collectors but this is great for all
with bright and pleasing colours. Verso very clean, embossed pattern
number.
