Anne A most excellent design of its type which
perhaps was the best exposition of Mintons
earthenwares tiles of the period with few
embossed tiles being made and the studio pottery
a different enterprise. A four corner repeating
design in the Queen Anne style as Mintons would
call it, mostly the style is referred to in the
broader Classical genre. Printed in a dark brown
with warm ruddy brown background on a buff clay
body. Verso perfectly clean embossed Mintons
etc.
