Art Nouveau Majolica Tile • Condition: Good • Price: £160 (approx $216) • Stock number: 07361 UK Special Delivery +£11 Europe Priority +£16 US and World Priority +£26 Currency Converter Ask a question Rim is mostly very tidy, one very tiny chip, other minor marks, surface has wear to the outline and scratches lower centre although glaze surfaces near the top are mostly good.   Style: Art nouveau Technique: Embossed majolica Maker: Carter Dimensions: 6" x 6" Date: 1905 (circa)   This is a fabulous tile when in top condition, I've only seen a few it is on the boundary of what one may call rare. I've only seen one colourway other than this and with white background it didn't come across well, this is an excellent olive green with a rich persian blue fill. I've only seen odd ones too except for a washstand in a very fine and expensive bedroom suite and this I bleieve only the second I have been able to offer for sale. Unfortunate not better condition but the surface marks are not too detracting if displayed just so, and it's a £350 - £400 tile perfect or very close. Verso, clear of adhesive, some smoke stain.   Information Tiles For Sale Contacts Order Information
