A typical victoriana design ideal for
large areas in hostelries, theatres and public
buildings. Not seen often perhaps because used
on walls they disappear with the wall or maybe
the the bobbles on the flower were seen as
vulnerable to wear. Despite being not often
found now it was made in to the 1930s, the
pattern number indicates origination in 1901 the
year the company was established so it may even
be a victorian design by date as well as by
style.
Verso clean, embossed England, painted
pattern number.
