Several very tiny and lesser rim chips, very
minor surface marks. • Style:
Victoriana A stylised field tile with light cover suited
for large areas. Rarely found, likely mostly
used on walls rather than in fireplaces and
furniture few have survived. The design registered in 1906 is not what one
would expect for the times one may assume two or
three decades earlier, or perhaps later. It is
indeed made later, the grip pattern dating from
the 1920s. Verso very clean, embossed England, printed
pattern number.
