Set of Twelve Floral Printed and Painted Tiles   • Condition: Excellent • Price: £300 (approx $402) • Stock number: 10117   UK Special Delivery +£30 EU Priority +£70 World Priority +£95 Currency Converter Ask a question Most tiles have one or two corners neatly filed down, a few chips/glaze flakes all but a couple tiny or lesser, surfaces for the most part are perfect..   • Style: Floral • Technique: Printed and Painted • Maker: Elijah Birch • Dimensions: 6" x 6" • Date: 1891 (registered)   This seems so familiar yet this group appear to be the first I have had, at least for 20+ years however it was also made without the lined background and with a different border and registered as such six weeks after this was. The set has four different grip patterns, two known to be Marsden the other two unidentified by me but seen from time to time used by companies that bought in blanks in Stoke. They could also be Marsden who used well over a dozen different grip patterns including some apparently intended for sell as blanks and not for inhouse use. Versos very clean, printed pattern number and design registration number, rubber stamp for Barralet the London stockist, clarity of marks differs from tile to tile.
