Corners trimmed for the original installation
otherwise very near perfect. Style: Floral I really like this design, I've had one in my
collection for many years. A bold floral design
with a great big flowerhead as favoured in this
period, a hint of the art nouveau to come with
some of the 'lazy floral' characteristics
present in many asymmetric designs of the time.
In bright and useful colours and brilliantly
glazed. Pattern number 24 so one of the first designs
by Henry Richards its introduction will date
from 1901, these made soon after around 1903-5
judging by the grip pattern. Some corners have been trimmed for the
original dry fixing using brass roundhead screws
and washers, in a wall installation the same can
be done to echo the original fixing method. Click the image below for a much larger
photo. Versos perfectly clean, embossed England.
