nouveau A set of ten reproductions of a great
original design in super colours one of the
better reproductions being moulded with embossed
and impressed pattern which made the manufacture
of the pattern plate much more complex and
expensive especially compared to raised outline
tiles. John Burgess made a small range of
reproduction tiles in the old Maw & Co.
factory in Jackfield in the late 20th
century. They have been installed in a fireplace
burning solid fuel and have gained many
characteristics of such use, crazing, a little
smoke stain etc and will blend well in a period
setting. To see an original click here. Versos very clean, embossed Acquisitions
